This collection includes unreleased acid breakbeat tunes, breaks tunes, electro tunes, dnb tunes, collabs, bootlegs & remixes from 2005 till 2011. Davip has given us his huge remix of Mars and Motive ft Profit Back To Basics that was only released 18 months ago. His mix toughens the track up with a huge, slamming bassline that in the right hands is going to cause some serious damage. MC Profit's lyrical prowess is again at the fore but with the choppy, powerful bass and some massive leads flowing in and out of the track this is peaktime, room one action as it should be. The use of the vocal in the build up to the main drop is simply sublime and is guaranteed to drive dancefloors all over the world into a frenzy.
Davip has reworked the Sub Focus drumstep mix of Ruskos Hold On (buy original) into a peak time breaks monster. I wasn't sure how this was gonna sound considering the tempo change but with Davip's obvious production talents it works a treat. Check HERE for a load more free Davip tracks.
DAVIP comes correct with his latest free track, his interpretation of RacknRuins 'Territory'. The remix parts to the original where handed out a while back and the winners will be announced in the next Black & Butter mailout but this version is more than enough for me. DaVIP is the youngest breaks producer in Russia. In his 18 years he has already had more than 10 releases on such a labels as Ayra(Hungary), Cut & Run (UK), Ammunition (USA), Subtribe (RU), SAW (RU), Don't Panic (UA). He started producing his own tracks in 2002 & completly determined to make BREAKS & BREAKBEAT, he started to work on his own sound. In 2007 he participated in UK breaks contest BREAKBEAT PARADISE, where his track Sylver took 2nd place.
In 2008 he saw releases and collaborations with such producers like TRANSGEN, ALMAZ, SPAZ aka KID DIGITAL and UK female vocalist LONEDOG.
In 2009 , in conjunction with legendary bootleg label CUT & RUN (UK), DaVIP's first vinyl was released with remixes of ALTER EGO and DAMIEN MARLEY. He has been supported by such a giants of breaks like Ollywood, Ctrl Z, Antiform, Pyramid, Beatman & Ludmilla, Jay Cunning, Lady Waks, Screwface, Golitcin, Ed209.
